Blue Heron

Blue Heron, 2.5″ wide by 3.75″ high

Walking along the beach in Belfast as the light fades, everything takes on a bluish color, closely matching the grey and blue of beautifully big Blue Heron as it slowly flaps and glides along the shore line.

Growing up on the coast of Maine I’ve seen this scene many times, in many places, and now it just feels like home.
