Crow (Round), 3″

I could watch, photograph, and draw crows for a long time and be happy. Maybe forever, they are such intriguing beings.

That said they are also a challenge, dynamic, moving, most often only a black silhouette. So it actually took me quite a long time to capture a good photo of a crow coming in to land. I really love the way it’s form fills with life in this moment though, it was a real pleasure to draw.
