Migrating Eagles, 2.5″ wide by 3.75″ high
Acadia National Park does a Hawk Watch each fall, I remember going as a young kid and learning to identify and count migrating raptors.
While some Bald Eagles stay in Maine for the winter others such as these two migrate South. It was a joy to watch these birds rising up in circles, lifted by thermals, then soaring south to catch another thermal and ride up again, what a beautiful way to travel.
